*In loving honor and memory of our beloved Scott Lowery.*
On February 17, 2019 the world lost one of the most kind-hearted, loving, caring, sweet and funny, man that we all were blessed to know. In 2017 Scott was diagnosed with ALS, and friends and family watched as this big, towering, healthy, young man began to lose his ability to walk and breathe. While there are some medicines available, nothing could stop or alleviate the suffering Scott endured from this malicious disease.
2018 was our first year participating in the Walk to Defeat ALS, and we made a promise to continue this walk each year. We didn't realize that it would be so soon that Scott would be unable to join us.
Honoring our promise, and in honor and memory of the wonderful Scott Lowery, please join us either in person or as a virtual walker if you cannot attend.

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophiclateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
