Walk Day Details!
Parking: Patient and handicap parking is located within the park at 1103 Cincinnati Ave. We encourage everyone else to park at 221 Alexander Ave. or to use street parking.
Pet Policy: Pets are welcome on leashes!
Registration: At check-in, you will receive fundraising badges and t-shirts, and be able to turn in donations you may have collected. ALL walkers need to check in! Online registration will close Friday afternoon, and if you miss the cut-off, you must register at the event. We will have record of all donations made through Friday afternoon. If online donations are collected after that, please let us know at the registration tent so we can properly record them.
T-shirts: Each walker who raises $75 or more on Walk Day will be eligible for an official Walk to Defeat ALS t-shirt. When you check in, a volunteer will assist you in collecting a t-shirt.
Why You Walk: Please bring a photo, quote, or sepcial memory to share on our "Why We Walk" banner. This special way to honor loved ones is a favorite attraction every year.
More than just a few-mile trek, the Walk to Defeat ALS® is an opportunity to bring hope to people living with ALS, to raise money for a cure, and to come together for something you care about. The Walk to Defeat ALS® is The ALS Association’s biggest annual event, which raises funds that allow our local chapters to sustain care services and support research for much of the next year.
